Family Suites
Accommodation at Madikwe Safari Lodge is designed with you and your family in mind. Among the lodge’s private luxury suites with their stunning views over the game reserve, the family suites in Lelapa Lodge are especially tailored to your kids as much as they are to you and your partner.
Kids get their own en-suite bedroom, their own space complete with bunk beds. You and your partner can enjoy some much-needed alone time, while your little ones entertain themselves in their own room, which comes fully equipped with all sorts of games and toys.
The Eco House
This is our home base for all kids’ activities. While parents are welcome, they may have a hard time keeping up with the dizzying range of games to educates as well as inspire. Make sure you leave their iPads back in the suite – this is strictly a tech-free zone! Our goal is to ignite their curiosity and wonder for nature. Screens can’t compete with that.
By the time you pick up your kids again, they’ll have all sorts of friends, memories, stories, and fun facts to share about life inside the Madikwe Reserve.
Kids Safari Club
While the Eco House gives your children an unforgettable hands-on experience of nature, the Kids Safari Club encourages them to be inspired by nature. Children are turned into young guides as they are taught how to look for animal “spoor” tracks around the lodge premises.
Around the Lelapa Lodge pool area, your children can get really creative. Rock-painting, cupcake-decorating, or dipping into our fancy dress wardrobe are some of the many activities we offer to inspire young imaginations.
And the fun doesn’t end, even after the sun goes down! Your kids can join our chefs whip up their own pizzas with all their favourite toppings. And who has time to sleep, when you can all come together for movie screenings under the stars?
