The honeymoon promotion applies to stays within 12 months of your wedding date.

To qualify, we simply ask for a copy of your marriage certificate at the time of booking or before arrival. The reservations team will confirm eligibility and ensure the honeymoon benefits are applied to your stay.

If you’re unsure whether your travel dates qualify, the team will be happy to advise.

To secure your booking, a 20% deposit is required. Once the deposit has been received, your reservation will be confirmed and held for you. Full booking details, including payment instructions, are provided with your confirmation.

The balance of payment is due 45 days prior to arrival. For bookings made within 45 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of confirmation.

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and postponement policy is as follows:

• 46–61 days prior to arrival:
  10% cancellation fee or free postponement
  
• 31–45 days prior to arrival:
  50% cancellation fee or 30% postponement fee
  
• 14–30 days prior to arrival:
  75% cancellation fee or 50% postponement fee
  
• 13 days or less prior to arrival:
  100% cancellation fee applies

Different terms may apply for group bookings or special offers, and these will be clearly outlined at the time of confirmation.

Madikwe Safari Lodge is located within Madikwe Game Reserve, a protected conservation area. The conservation levy and entrance fees are charged by the reserve and contribute directly to:

• Wildlife conservation and anti-poaching efforts
  
• Reserve management and maintenance
  
• Community upliftment and environmental protection initiatives

These fees are charged separately from accommodation rates and are a vital part of preserving the reserve for future generations.

Rates include luxury accommodation, all meals, teas and coffees, a selection of house beverages (soft drinks, beer, wine, spirits), twice-daily game drives with FGASA-accredited guides, guided bush walks (age and fitness restrictions apply), transfers to and from Madikwe’s Eastern Airstrip, and WiFi in public areas.

Excluded items include spa treatments, laundry, premium beverages (premium brand spirits, cellar wines, and champagnes), gratuities, flights and transfers not specified, private safari vehicle hire, babysitting, and Madikwe Game Reserve entrance and conservation fees.

Yes. Group bookings (six rooms or more) may require additional deposits and have adjusted payment or cancellation terms. These are communicated clearly at the time of booking.
